Restaurant Sea Horse in Helsinki offers the perfect setting for celebrations, meetings and private events.
In addition to comfortable tables in our dining hall, guests can enjoy two charming private dining rooms located in Ullanlinna, Helsinki’s beautiful Art Nouveau district.
Our private rooms are ideal for birthdays, family gatherings, company dinners or intimate celebrations with friends.
You can choose from our pre-order group menus or ask us to create a customised menu to suit your occasion.
For relaxed groups of over 12 guests, we also offer the option to order from a shortened à la carte menu.
Smaller groups of up to 14 people can make a reservation directly through our online booking system.

CAKES & FLOWERS
We are happy to provide celebration cakes for your special occasions.
Cakes can be ordered no later than 3 business days in advance.
Our selection includes caramel, raspberry, and strawberry cream cakes, available for 5 / 10 / 18 / 24 people.
The price for cakes is €12 per person.
If you wish to replace the menu’s dessert with a cake, please ask us for the price difference.
For floral arrangements, we recommend Rose-Marie on Kapteeninkatu.
They can also deliver the flowers directly to the restaurant upon request.

Our two private dining rooms are ideal for intimate dinners, family celebrations, and small corporate events for 10–26 guests.
Both rooms were designed by the Finnish artist Kimmo Kaivanto, and are located in the charming Jugend district of Ullanlinna, just a short walk from the Helsinki city centre.

An intimate and atmospheric private room

Our larger private dining room for 16–26 guests

- Flexible table arrangements (2 × 10 + 1 × 6-person tables)

- Thu–Sun: €800 / 3 hours

Can we bring our own decorations?
Yes, small table decorations are welcome. Please agree on the details when making the reservation.
Can we bring our own cake?
Cakes should be ordered through us. We will be happy to tell you more about the options.
Can the booking be extended?
Bookings can be extended depending on availability. During high season the rooms are in high demand — please inquire when reserving the space.
Are the rooms suitable for corporate dinners?
Yes, both of our private rooms are very popular for business events.
Is the room private?
Yes, both rooms are separated from the main dining area with light sliding doors.
